Unclaimed deposit is that which amount of money[cash/FDR] are not been claimed by anyone in the last 12 years.
Terms before the money becomes unclaimed deposit.
1. No transection for 6 months- Dorment
2. No transection for 1 year- In oparative
3. No transection for 5 years- Bank will verify customer
4. No transection for 10 years- Bangladesh bank will freeze this money and give a notice for payment.
5. No transection for 12 years- Central bank will hand over this money to government treasury finally.
